Boogs (Chris Czaplinski) has over 15 years of experience with sports picks and handicapping.  He started for fun, but has learned to supplement his income by betting on a weekly basis. Through trial and error, and years of ups and downs, Boogs has finally found a winning formula, and is ready to share it with you.

Whether you like to bet $20 here and there, or you do it to make a living, betting on sports can be fun and profitable  It can take a game you have no rooting interest in and make it exciting. We have two NFL Playoff games tomorrow, and I will be sharing with you some picks that I like for them.

I will be breaking the picks down into units.  Each game will be rated from 1-10 units, depending on confidence.  Each unit on a bet should represent 1% of your bankroll. For example:  if your bankroll is $1,000, then each unit would be $10, making a 5 unit play a $50 bet.  You can adjust according to how aggressive you want to be, but never go more than 5% of your bankroll per unit.

Los Angeles Rams @ New Orleans Saints -3

Over/Under 56.5

Pick:  UNDER 56.5 (-110)

Units:  5

The lines opened up at -3.5 and O/U 57, so the money has been pretty even, with only a slight majority going on the Rams and the Under.  WIth two of the top scoring offenses in the league, a high scoring affair should be expected. Regardless, 56.5 is a very high point total.  The Saints have been playing great defense at home and have struggled a little on offense the past few weeks. There will be points here, but I don't think they hit the over.

New England Patriots @ Kansas City Chiefs -3

Over/Under 56

Pick:  PATS +3 (-110)

Units:  5

When it comes to sports betting, you never bet with your heart.  Don’t bet a team because you're a fan or because you like a player; play it because you think its a winner.  I LOVE Patrick Mahomes. What a great opportunity for the new blood to take out the GOAT. Unfortunately, Bill Belichick and Brady are scary good in the playoffs, and I can't go against them.  As much as I like Mahomes, I like money better. Take the Pats with the points.

BONUS PICK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pick:  New England/Kansas City 1st Half OVER 27.5 (-125)

Units:  8
